I really enjoyed doing this painting. I think the bright orbs of light were easy to separate into sections and look realistic.
The artist I found for transparency is named Grazyna Lelito. I liked how you can tell they are bottles but all the colors make it look abstract and realistic at the same time. I also like how it you can look at each individual color but it also looks like a bunch of different random colors.

Winter Tree, Winter Sky
I took this picture at a park. I simplified it a lot because I thought the focus on the tree was more important. The sky was very blue with no clouds. The process was quick because I started with a much bigger canvas then switched to this small one because I was overwhelmed. Overall I am pleased with this painting.
Lost Eye
This is a picture of my sister and my cat. I chose this for a lost eye portrait because my sister's eye is fading into the darkness behind her because I aimed the light at her face while taking the photo. I also like the shadow on the cat's fur, it gives a glossy feeling. The process was quick because I used pencil but it was hard getting a difference in value with the pencil.

First Portrait
This is the first portrait I have ever done and I am okay with it but I want to try again with much less body to paint and much more contrast.
Lost Eye
I like these photos because I feel like each one portrays a different emotion but they are all the same type of photo in the same light. The first gives a very light, and happy feeling because the baby looks happy. The second gives a sensual feelings like she is in love. The third gives sad feelings like he is going through something bad. I enjoy the lack of detail but strong light.

Mentor Artist
I really enjoy the work of Peggi Kroll Roberts. She is not very detailed in her work. She paints general shapes and uses bright colors. I find myself attracted to this because I like abstract still life's and portraits but I struggle when I try to make everything perfect and just like the picture but when I do it more abstract and free form I find it looks better and I have more fun. I also like experimenting with bold colors and dramatic color change like Peggi. I am particularly inspired by these works from Peggi.
