This was inspired by my word fire. I just used a random lighter and made my brother photograph. Catching the light on the hand and the flame were the two hardest things. After much erased here is my work.
consider the lighting in your photos. This one looks like it was shot in a bright room or with a flash. If you make the light in the room lower, the lighter flame would stand out much more.
